Green Juice


Technically this is more of a green smoothie, because I do not "juice" the greens, but rather blend them all in my Vitamix. I drink this daily and have been doing so for about 1.5 years. An easy way to get a huge amount of greens in for the day, not to mention the anti-inflammatory benefits and rocking amount of energy you feel after consuming it! Recipe below!

1. Handful or 2 of spinach

2. Handful or 2 of kale

3. 1/2 cucumber peeled and sliced

3. 1/4 apple (does not need to be peeled) sliced

4. 1 lemon peeled (entire lemon, not a juiced lemon)

5. 1-2 inches of fresh ginger, peeled

6. 1 spoonful of Mega Food Daily Turmeric

7. Chopped fresh cilantro to taste (I like a lot of cilantro myself)

8. 2 cups of water plus crushed ice

Blend all in the Vitamix until thin and juice consistency. Enjoy immediately!
